Ekmansgården
This building used to be the home of a savings bank and the village shop This is where the kitchen staff often came running when they needed to re-stock on ingredients before they aggravated the chef. In the beginning of the 50s, the house almost burned to the ground. The post-fire sale attracted many locals and rumor has it that, years after the incident, you could still recognize who got a bargain from the smell of their clothes.
The newly renovated rooms in Ekmansgården are dedicated important events that take place at our in during the four seasons, like winter’s advent and midsummer. Two suites and two double deluxe rooms, all with luxurious bathrooms.
