Vasa’s Wing
Gustav Vasa, King of Sweden 1523-1560, is regarded the founder of modern Sweden. Gustav Vasa was elected regent in 1521 after leading a rebellion against Christian II of Denmark, the leader of the Kalmar Union who controlled most of Sweden at the time. He owned Häringe when it was a wooden palace and made it the base for the naval forces on the east coast.
The Vasa Wing is dedicated to him. Here you find double and single rooms, some overlook the apple orchard.
