Food & Beverages at c/o Grythyttans Inn

The food

The White Guide is the Swedish equivalent of Guide Michelin. c/o Grythyttans Gästgivaregård is one of the restaurants they highly recommend in 2011.

Like all members of the c/o family, c/o Grythyttan believes strongly in the Slow Food movement. As much as possible, we use fresh, pesticide-free, local ingredients, quite often gathered from the surrounding forests. Consequently, our menus are ever changing to fit the ingredients of the season.

While we find inspiration for tastes and techniques from kitchens around the world, we also uphold Swedish culinary traditions, often in close collaboration with Grythyttan School of Hospitality, Culinary Arts & Meal Science. Our Swedish roots are especially celebrated during all Swedish holidays, with time-honored menus and customary activities.

To keep your delicious food company at the dinner table, our talented sommeliers will help you pair every course with a fine red, pink or white. With one of the finest wine cellars in Sweden containing thousands of bottles, you can be sure we’ll find something to make you smile.
