No really. As you already may have guessed, this is not a company like others. We’re driven by greater deeds and grander thoughts. We are for doing good and supporting those who do good.

• We make an effort to hire people who have had a hard time finding a job. We think Blixtjobb by Stockholms Stadsmission is an excellent initiative to help people back on their feet.

• The c/o Häringe Palace is a large property and houses that are not in use by the hotel operations are used to give shelter to families in difficult situations.
• Lost & found items that were forgotten and not picked up within 4 months are brought to Stockholm Stadsmission, where clothes & accessories get a new life.
• All furniture removed during the renovation of c/o The Maidstone was donated to local charities: Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, The Retreat (serving victims of domestic abuse), The Ladies Village Improvement Society of East Hampton and Southampton Fresh Air Home (a camp for physically challenged children).
• We actively encourage our employees to help microfinance entrepreneurial ventures via Kiva.
• We donate auction items and purchase tidbits for our art collection at the annual Barndiabetesfonden Auction on World Diabetes Day in Stockholm. 100% of the profits go into diabetes research.
• At the annual Christmas Tree Lighting in East Hampton, we sell raffle tickets to benefit the local Food Pantry.

• Long House Reserve, Guild Hall and Watermill Center are cultural organisations in the Hamptons which we proudly support whenever we can.
